I decided to give Dr. Besson one more try but it was definitely my last. I wanted a female GYN that no longer practiced as an Obstetrician, thinking she would spend more time and be compassionate about menopause; instead she was in a hurry to write a prescription for estrogen; not really listening to my symptoms. And as far as the yearly exam, not sure how she could tell if I had any lumps in my breast (lumptectomy years ago) and certainly not convinced she could tell if I had any uterine polyps (had in the past). DR Besson was a very nice and helpful doctor. i had no problems she was very honest.
This visit to a GYN was the worst ever in my 30 years of going to a GYN, I don't even know if I really had a pap smear done, Dr Besson refused to discuss any menopause information with me, said I was too young to be concerned with that, even after I explained to her that I had not had a cycle in a year. I was very upset, since I picked Dr. Besson because I thought since she no longer handled the obstetrics end of a woman's life, that she'd be more in tune to the opposite end of a women's cycle.
Never got a chance to see Dr besson. I could never deal with the rude receptionist, Mary catherine. VERY RUDE!
I went in for my yearly she would not do a breast exam told me it didnt matter next day they found something. she also told me I was costing her money because I was on medicare. I have never felt so uncared for and she was so uncaring and hartless. she should be ashamed of herself for even calling herself a doctor. I would never recomend her to my dog.
