Outstanding surgeon! I couldn't have been happier with the mid-January hip replacement surgery I received under the leadership of Dr. Chukwunyerenwa. Although I live in Calgary, and the 3-hour trek to the Medicine Hat Hospital isn't ideal, it was certainly well worth the drive. It's obvious that Dr. C is a brilliant surgeon. I count my lucky stars to have had an orthopaedic surgeon as skillful as Dr. Chukwunyerenwa. Half a year after my hip replacement surgery performed by frontal approach, I am thrilled with the results. The wait was only 11 months as compared to the 2 & 1/2 years in Calgary. The few drives to Medicine Hat were definitely worth it.

My experience with Dr. Chukwunyerenwa was wonderful. I am walking independently after 8 weeks post op hip replacement. This surgeon was very pleasant, professional and informative. The receptionist, Christine, was also pleasant and efficient. Travelling to Medicine Hat from Calgary was much more difficult for me and for my husband but it did allow for a quicker surgical date and I am happy with the end result.
