I'm truly grateful for the Korean eye clinic in Colorado - it's incredibly convenient. Being able to consult comfortably in Korean, just like in Korea, is a great comfort. 절대 가지마세요. 황반변성이라고 시력을 잃게될 거라고 해서 놀란 마음에 한국에 가서 검사를 했더니 햇빛에 기미가 끼듯 눈에도 까만 반점이 생긴 것일 뿐 황반변성 전혀 아니라고 해서 너무 놀란 적이 있어요. 그런 무서운 진단에(시력상실) 위로는 커녕 자세한 설명도, 앞으로의 치료 방향도, 경제적 부담도 상세히 설명하지도 않아요. 어서 배웠는지 강압적이고 AI같은 표정이며 쌀쌀맞은 태도에 다녀오면 늘 시분이 나빴어요. 시력 안 좋은 어르신들이 여기서 진단서 받아 운전면허 갱신하는데 쓴다고 많이들 가신다고….
Optometrist herself is helpful and kind. Great optometrist. The older Korean male associate selling the glasses, however, is abrasive and condescending.
