As usua, my experience with Dr. Norwood, Deidre, and all of the Starling staff was excellent. Dr. Norwood followed up on past issues with me and gave me a clear picture of possible future health issues. Thanks to all at that office!
Great experience as always. Friendly, knowledgeable, takes the time to explain everything during the body scan.
I find Dr. Norwood to be a very confident person, very knowledgeable , funny. Has always treated me well. I certainly recommend him.
good experience, very friendly. Great doctor.
Fabulous Dr,! Extremely knowledgeable. I've been in CT for over a decade, seen probably 6 -7 different dermatologists (I get a full body scan every year) Dr Norwood is the ONLY Dr I actually liked. Whie doing the checkup, he gives you this full explanation, in addition when you ask questions he has answers that explain why the skin reacts in a certain way even if the problem is not the skin related and the skin reaction is a side effect. Highly recommend this Dr.
I've been going to Dr. Norwood for many years for routine skin checks and minor issues. Then, one day, melanoma. He removed it and sent me to UConn for further treatment and he followed up on my progress. I felt he was genuinely interested in how I was doing and cared about achieving a successful outcome. He takes time with patients, answers questions and has a good "bedside manner."
Has no compassion. 15 yr patient, last year went on Obamacare. Was dropped as a patient, could not get prescription creams that allow me to go out in the sun. Lost my job, thankfully found new doctor before I lost my home. Could not believe he would write for my prescriptions and let me suffer. Very cold man.
Dr. Norwood is simply one terrific doctor! I have suffered with psoriasis and eczema for years with short periods of relief. Dr. Norwood took the time to explain and offered me many options for treatment. He successfully got the skin condition under control. He also spent much time with paperwork and correspondence with the insurance company and drug manufacturer to get them to cover the drug. He is the one out of ten dermatologists that just doesn't hand out cream and see you in six months
Went to see him for psoriasis very confused about how to use cream staff did not know what they were doing went to follow up came in to my visit with an attitude I was a stupid old lady who did not know how to use the meds correctly it was never explained to me my pharmacy said his staff never called in the meds properly he raised his voice to me and I told home he will not talk to me that way and I left making a fool of my self he did not care how bad my psoriasis was only that he was right
