I had waited for my appointment for a long time, and it got canceled 4 days before with the excuse saying they could not reach me When I went to the office in person to confirm date and time. I cut the receptionist in too many lies! One saying they call a week prior which she did not and also made it sound like she was doing some charity work by calling me.
This Dr. accused me of faking my ambulatory difficulties. (Said they were “behavioural,” which is Dr-code for “not real”.) When I told him he was wrong, pointing out, for one, I haven’t been able to shower standing up for 3 years, he said, “Sounds like you are doubting my expertise.” (More concerned about his ego than trying to understand my disability). He recommended against immunotherapy to the referring doctor, even though repeat lumbar puncture (under fluoroscopy) results were still pending - a test HE suggested & which... read more
Dr. Christoper Uy was extremely kind, compassionate and patient. He made sure I understood my illness answered all my questions. He made me feel hopeful for the future. I am fortunate to have him as my neurologist!
