This year, my 14-year-old daughter ruptured her ACL. My doctor referred us to a surgeon, as she would need surgery. As a worried and concerned parent, I chose to get a second opinion. Dr Spelman was our second opinion. As a neurotic parent, I was very hesitant in agreeing to surgery. The minute I walked out of his office, I knew I wanted him to operate on my daughter. Dr Spelman was my daughters specialist & surgeon this year throughout a difficult period. We were extremely impressed with his skills and his bedside manner. He explained everything in a way my teenage daughter could understand.
