Dr. Merrick is a very competent and highly respected pulmonologist in Colorado Springs. He is not only highly trained but prioritizes, listens, trusts and gives credit to a patient's history for diagnosis. He is kind and patient. His care of me was life-changing, from the first vist. This extremely inconsiderate doctor does not even deserve one star. Arrived at his building a couple minutes before appointment time. Waited several minutes for the elevator with my wheelchair-bound father. Then another few minutes in the waiting area for the desk staff to check us in. It was 7 minutes after the appointment time. Dr Merrick had already told them to cancel the appointment for which we had waited over a month. The excuse was that he was now in a meeting.
