From my first visit with Dr DeBacker I recognized that I would be in good hands for my eye lid surgery. He didn’t try to over sell me by saying I wouldn’t be happy if I didn’t get a brow lift too (as another doctor had said). He answered all the questions I had and did not rush through the initial consultation. I am extremely happy after 10 days of recovery. The South Texas Surgical Center was outstanding. Their staff was friendly and efficient. Together with the doctor I had a great team.

Dr. Debacker did a marvelous job to restore the positioning of one of my eyelids.After a thorough investigation had been done, the required surgery was a'snap' for me as patient. I had great difficulty reading before, and have finished two books in the 3 weeks that followed. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr. DeBacker reconstructed tissue on my lower eyelid through some complex microsurgical procedures for which he is known to perform with delicacy and precision. In pre- and post-operative examinations and on the day of the procedure, I found Dr. DeBacker to be a precise and clear communicator. I dreaded the surgery itself, yet I was very confident in Dr. DeBacker's training and specialization. I feel he is exceptional, a highly skilled, composed, articulate and compassionate surgeon.
Dr DeBaker did my eye surgery on St. Patricks Day. Oh My! what a difference. I wish I could upload a side by side.. I recommend him highly. He's great! Professional and kind.
My droopy eyelids were interfering with my vision. Dr DeBacker did surgery on them.... 28 minutes of IV sedation at a free standing, very clean surgical center. They made a return appointment at the time they made my surgery appointment and the stitches were removed. Very little bruising, just some swelling of my eyelids. The Doctor is the most through and knowledgeable Doctors I know. He has doe work on both my husband and me. I have had some serious eye issues and he has been able to take care of everything, always at a pace as not to stress me out.
Dr. DeBacker is a very nice caring physician. He is very prompt and respectful of your appointment time. He called after ours and left his cell to check on my pain etc. after surgery. I highly recommend him.
