Even though he had previously diagnosed me as having a blocked tear duct, he felt the need to repeat the painful irrigation technique when I finally agreed to have surgery. I left so upset and luckily found a wonderful ophthalmologist in Greenville, who was able to diagnose my blocked ducts without irrigation. I scheduled surgery and was able to have both eyes done at the same time—something Hagerty was not willing to do.
