Dr Okiishi is the most skilled, empathic, insightful psychiatrist that I have ever worked with. He has the most generous spirit of any person I have ever known. I trust him with my life every day, and he is worthy of that trust.
Dr. Okiishi is the most down-to-earth, gentle psychiatrist I've worked with. He listens to your concerns, provides education, and seems to really care. I've been going there over a year now and would definitely recommend him if you're looking for a doc. He's also good with LGBTQIA patients. Nonjudgmental! Only downside is that he's usually late. But that's pretty common for docs.
He is very insightful and asks many questions. I first described my issues to him and he offered feedback and ideas on what I was experiencing. He asked unbiased and unloaded questions. I hope to continue seeing him for my time in Iowa City.
