I originally went to a certified nurse midwife thinking that I would be aloud to vbac... she fought me nail and tooth and suggested I talk to another Dr. in the practice. (Dr. Stroud) I thought I was sent to him so he could scare me into another c-section... boy was I pleasantly surprised!!! I'm glad he has his own practice now, can't imagine a better obgyn to have one. If home birth is not an option for you, I would highly suggest Dr. Stroud!
Wonderful! First time I met Dr. Stroud was in the lunch room. He was so personable and friendly. We planned to meet again for an appt but the baby and God had different plans! Dr. Stroud made it just in time to deliver. He ran all the way across the hospital to get to us! He walked in the room with a big smile and so gracefully guided our little miracle of life! We were so blessed to have a brief but very meaningful encounter with Dr. Stroud. You will feel the same, guaranteed!
I cannot praise Dr. Stroud and his team enough. I don't believe our little Samuel would be here without him. Dr. Stroud guided us through an unplanned c-section calmly and gracefully. God has blessed him with an amazing gift and we were so grateful to be on the receiving end of that gift!

Amazing Dr! I was able to capture the birth of twins born vaginally! So thankful that this doctor trust his patients and encourages them!
I can't say enough about Dr. Stroud, his midwives and staff! They rock! Lindsay delivered my baby girl Penelope and it was such an amazing birthing experience! I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Stroud and his fabulous crew to anyone! Thank you for everything! :)
