Very Rude. Talked down to me and made me feel terrible most of the time. Has a very big ego. I will not use him on my second pregnancy.
Dr. Yancey is the BEST doctor I have ever had. Dr. Yancey is extremely intelligent and I completely trust him. When they tried to give me an epidural 3 times and it wouldn't take he was wonderful at coaching me through a natural childbirth that ended up being the best experience ever. I would recommend him to anyone who wants smart care!

Rude rude rude. Everytime I went to see him he acted like I had no clue I was actually his patient and that he'd never seen me before in his life. Which is funny because him and my mother were friends in high school and he acted like he didn't know her either. I went in there with an infection that would come and go and he thought it was mandatory to check me for stds everytime even though I insisted I wasn't sexually active and didn't need the tests. I used Dr. Yancey when I had my son in November of 2006. I have absolutely no complaints. He is a wonderful doctor. I had my first son by vaginal delivery but wasn't able to this time. Dr. Yancey did everything that he could do to allow me to have my son vaginally. I had expressed to him that I wanted to have a vaginal delivery throughout my pregnancy and only after 13 hrs of labor and only dialating to a 4 did he even mention a C-Section, because it was causing stress on my son. Yancey is very conservative - almost too conservative. I feel I was 'talked into' a C-section, when I could have had a vaginal delivery.
