Omg I can right a novel abt this hospital and dr Ritter is the most ignorant dr doesn't talk to family members after surgery in person u got to hunt him down my partner broke his ankle back in dec 24 3rd surgery now cancelled first failed cause er gave wrong dr an hip/knee dr instead of ritter to begin with he was thrown down into surgery didn't work almost lost his leg and possibly still can or least his foot..drs and this hospital no good care at all especially this joke of a dr. Ankle/Fibula fracture February 2025 due to a fall on ice. Dr. Ritter and his team took care of everything seamlessly from Surgery to follow up. Back to life without restrictions by May 2025. Normal range of motion, no pain. Will be returning to Dr. Ritter and his practice for elective foot/toe surgery, non ankle related. Very highly recommended.
This dr is a joke the whole orthopedic clinic there at ecmc needs some help he's not taking care of my husband at all

Two Fibula surgeries, the second one being only 3 weeks ago and I'm worse off than I was. Daily tasks are still a struggle and in more pain than I was before surgery. They denied temporary medication only 4 days after getting off crutches and any appointment I had, had never met with the gentleman who actually did the operation. Would not recommend UBMD for they aren't courteous to their patients after the first visit and need to stop rushing patients out of the office.
