If you or a family member has cancer, please don't go to Cape Fear Oncology center. They are the most incompetent people, and they couldn't care less about you or your treatment! My brother had Dr. Manning, and he did absolutely nothing to help my brother. My brother was able to walk when he started going there and was in terrible pain. I have been patient of Ms. Ajo the past several years. The check in process was easy. I was greeted immediately by a friendly face. My wait was not very long and Ms. Ajo's medical assistant has always been wonderful. I understand she is retiring, and I am happy for her but sorry to see her go. Ms. Ajo has always been friendly and thorough and never made me feel rushed. I strongly recommend this practice.

I came to the ER due to my 11 month old having a 104.2 fever. I understand the ER will not always be fast moving, however I would think that at the least my child’s vitals would have been looked upon sooner due to the circumstances. I would leave 0 stars. I was essentially swindled out of about 500 dollars. Dr. Jackson providing unnecessary services to pad the bill. They claimed "pharma" code in a simple saline IV. I recall clearly she said it was ONLY saline solution - and she insisted when I said I did not need it. I also got charged 4x as opposed to 2x for a blood enzyme test (research article claim one test is enough). Both of those charges were disputed on the EOB - yet they demand payment anyway. I brought my child to the emergency room her with subcutaneous emphysema. We were checked in rapidly but when she was triaged by the nurse the problems began. I informed her of my child’s condition and her first response was, “Who told you that? How do you know?”. Things went downhill rapidly from there. She was placed in the waiting room for over 2 hours. A few months ago I was sent to Cape Fear Valley Emergency Room from an Urgent Care facility because I tested positive for Covid-19. I had a raging fever and and I suffer with asthma and was not breathing well. I was not having severe breathing problems. The staff that checked me in were nice but after the check-in I did not receive any medication for my elevated temperature. wouldn’t recommend this hospital to my enemy!!! This hospital nearly killed my husband! Negligence cause him to have several health problems under the care of Cape fear medical staff. The poor care left him with multiple issues that we are having to navigate through! The lies the doctors have used to keep him either in the hospital under care is beyond words.
