Anybody who's honest about Dr Hanson's demeanor or attitude gets flagged. I have been his patient for years and he gets worse with every appointment. He never misses an opportunity to blame me for my gum disease despite the fact that I've been diabetic for 28 years. He reminds me every time that gum disease isn't covered by insurance. He even made a point when pulling a tooth that it came out in one piece because of my diseased gums. He's not pleasant or kind or even civil and I'm tired of it. Hanson- nope. Terrible. Wants to pull a tooth several other dentist (switched insurance) have said was a root canal. He's cold and I don't trust him.
Horrible excuse for a Dentist. Staff was great but the Dr. grade A Duche. Wont listen to medical history before deciding he knows best within 30 seconds of meeting you. They don't care about what YOU want for YOUR HEALTH but what's good for THEIR WALLETS. Horrible place shouldn't be open when you don't care about your patients. Glad I walked away 100% if you cant listen to me while your asking questions I DONT TRUST you to practice correctly. Hope you continue to know everything and it leads you to success
Came in for an emergency appointment after my tooth broke and was in pain and cutting my tongue. Arrived at 6AM and waited 3 hours to get back. Was waiting to get X-rays and Dr.Hanson sent me away without anyone looking in my mouth and said to schedule a new patient exam. This clinic is full until September! Horrible bedside manner. I called the Eugene Smile Keepers clinic and they told me to come right in, I waited less than 5 minutes to be seen. The doctor there fixed my tooth on the spot!
In pain but will not do anything until you have a cleaning. Absolutely ridiculous. Has no sympathy for patient Would never recommend this person.
Smile Keepers is OK but Dr. Hanson is horrible as a Dentist. His bedside manners are horrible. I was coming from another dentist because of my insurance and he barely examined me and said he needed to pull all of my teeth which I knew was a lie. I questioned him and he even became meaner. I ran from that place or from him. Never going back and he left me traumatized!
