Dr. Pohlman has done 2 surgeries for me in the last 2 decades. Both with very satisfactory results. Thank you for helping me with care and compassion ! May i also add a nice guy.
I found Dr. Pohlman to be an exceptional doctor and surgeon. He did a good job on my operation and he listened carefully and addressed all of my questions; even if they weren't 100% about my surgery. In addition, I found him to be a sincerely nice person without the "God complex" that a lot of surgeons have.
Dr. Pohlman took great care of me, and he is a nice guy. I had a good surgical outcome, which is what matters at the end of the day.
I never saw this surgeon, but I checked the cost for my gallbladder surgery and discovered that Dr. Pohlman and other surgeons in Boulder charge TWICE what others do. The surgery bills out at about $4500 at most places. Dr. Pohlman charges over $10,000! With insurance, that’s about a $700 difference in my out-of-pocket cost. No, thanks. I’ll have my surgery in Superior and save that $700.
