In mid-2001 I fell in Huntsville and broke my femur just below the hip joint. As I live in Kitchener, they ultimately transferred me to Grand River Hospital. Dr. Chris Geddes was my Orthopaedic Surgeon and he and his team repaired my broken leg with a plate and screws. My recovery was very good and I did the required physiotherapy and the results were perfect. After a year I never even thought about my serious break and walk 100% with absolutely no side effects.
