Dr. Chan was highly recommended by our NICU doctor at Glendale Adventist. He is most informative and absolutely one of the best doctors I’ve come across. We are happy with the care we get for our daughter with Dr. Chan. A very big plus is Dr. Chan always replies back within 30 mins for after hour calls or sometimes it surprises me when he just picks up the phone. All round fantastic staff and Doc.
I had a terrible experience bringing my newborn daughter to see Dr. Chan. Dr. Chan had a cold bedside manner , dismissed my concerns and told me I messed up by supplementing with a bottle, even though my daughter was unable to eat otherwise. He was rough, did not wear gloves during the examination, and was dressed unprofessionally. The office itself was dated, worn, and absolutely filthy. The exam table had gunk in the seams and other surfaces were dusty and grimy.
Rude !!! For so many years we've been coming to this doctor and have known him to be the friendliest. Today I called his office simply asking a simple question regarding my son's ear and he blasted me with rudeness! He could have simply replied to me with a yes or no but instead he yelled at me, he didnt even think we are his patient. He was like " talk to your audiologist!" "we dont' do that here!" "what else do you want?! Hey Dr. Chan -- we are not animals, we are humans!
Dr. Chan is an amazing pediatrician. He is very knowledgeable and is good at putting a parents mind at ease. I would highly recommend him.
This is where I bought my son's. Now I'm bringing my grandsons. Great Doctor!
