Thorough exam, accurate diagnosis, successful treatment!
I am shocked at the kindness of the office staff. Dr. Fialkoff listened to my needs and helped me treat my condition quickly. The wait time not so great but in the end it was worth the time and attention she gave me.
This was my first visit with Affiliated Dermatology, and my last. The staff was nice, as was the nurse. Dr. Cheryl Fialkoff was not the least bit friendly, professional, polite, courteous or accommodating, nor would I refer anyone to her. She acted as though I was bothering or troubling her, and she even commented that if we're not a good fit/match for one another (as doctor/patient), then we're not a good fit/match! Dr Fialkoff prescribed an oral antibiotic for my son's severe acne. It had little effect but she kept him on it for almost 2 years until I changed doctors. He was prescribed another drug by the new doctor and is much better. It took a month or 2 to obtain an appt, the wait in the office was often 30 minutes or more and the staff is not that pleasant. I was very impressed with Dr Failkoffs knowledge and her willingness to answer my questions. Dr Failkoff and her staff made me feel at ease. As soon as my biopsy results were available, Dr. Failkoff personally called me. She exhibits genuine concern in a professional and personable manner.
Horrible customer service the establishment makes you wait for hours on end to be seen.
This doctor refused health care stating that they didn't participate in the Affordable Care Act, which is against the law. She is using politics to interfere with needed health care. I have metastatic melanoma. I have BC/BS NJ coverage and am in this doctor's network. My plan is accepted at this doctor's office. BC/BS verified it and instructed them that their contract dictated that they honor my insurance plan. They will not honor it because I purchased it on the exchange. Dr. Fialkoff is an excellent, caring physician. Her nurse is professional and her office staff is fine.
Dr. Fialkoff is one of the most pleasant, down-to-earth doctors in dermatology. She always is friendly, caring and delivers excellent, effective care. You might wait a little in the waiting room to see her, but when you are in the treatment room with her you will understand why you yourself waited. She is thorough and make sure that all your concerns and questions have ben addressed before you leave. My family and I love her and will never see enyone else for our skin.
