Dr. Blacksten has been our doctor for years. I’m 66 and she is simply the best doctor I’ve ever had! She listens to what I say, asks clarifying questions and presents alternative options for consideration. She spends as much time as needed. I Never feel rushed. I’m glad she is our doctor!
I have been a patient of Dr. Blacksten for many years. A recent visit prompted me to write this review, but my visits are handled similarly. Dr. Blacksten always listens as I try to explain what my current heath conditions are. I am always impressed with how attentive Dr. Blacksten is and how she is able to deduce from my explanation of symptoms what possible solutions might be warranted. Her nurse Sonya is incredibly rude and lazy and doesn't care about her patients at all. Blacksten stops caring about her patients after a while too and tells you you're "someone else's problem" when she doesn't know how else to care for you. I was her patient for over 5 years and I just fired her. Her nurse never follows up on anything nor calls you back, they always have communication problems and there are only 3 people in the whole damn practice! Clarifications: I have NEVER been sanctioned by the board of pharmacy, for over prescribing anything. Someone stole my number and tried to write prescriptions on my name - I asked the pharmacy to verify every script after incident. I am a mom, yes after school my child is in the office, she looses enough of me as it is as I work 7 days a week. I run late because I try to let my patients get all their needs met in one visit. My therapy dog (only 1) is in the office. Best of luck.

Dr. Blacksten and her staff are amazing. I have been seeing her since before she opened her practice and she always takes my preferred care into consideration when offering solutions to my heath care needs. She takes the time to listen, review and diagnose.
One of the best Family Practice doctors I have encountered. Very thorough and knowledgable. Well-trained like the old fashioned doctors. I am a physician as well.
Dr. Blacksten is a great primary care physician. I trust her with my overall care as well as my children!
