Horrible dentist!! She consults with a nursing home, and is totally neglectful with the residents care. Does not order x rays or practice proper cleaning for the patients. When asked about why the proper cleaning was not done. She makes excuses and blames it on the patient by not being cooperative. Please STAY AWAY! You definitely don’t want to have an elderly person being in her care.
Horrible dentist. Dishonest, extremely overpriced and heavy handed so I always ended up in pain even with an anesthetic. Should have left much sooner of course . Stay away.
Staff is inconsistent and socially akward. Dr. prescribes treatment that sounds reasonable, but later, I'm suspicious of her agenda. Tells patient to CHEW the bite check paper, "LIKE A PIECE OF GUM". Being NUMB I chewed my tongue, BRUISING it. I prepaid for 4 fillings and decided to not do the last. I demanded 1/4 deposit returned ($354.50). She retracted discounts, and a credit from a procedure that failed, keeping for herself $54.50. SHE HAS NOT RETURNED MY MONEY, LYING ABOUT SENDING IT.
I had a custom orthodic made for the treatment of TMD. I paid 4000 up front in full for a six month treatment plan. She would apply a TENS unit each visit and adjust the Orthodic. After a few visits her staff changed and new girls would apply the TENS unit. Sometimes it would be applied wrong, or turned up too high and my jaw would slam together. Had an implant done. Was not informed that the salesman was going to guide Dr Charmen through the procedure. If I was to be a guinea pig I should have been compensated. My new dentist was less than thrilled with an implant type that he had never seen before. Needless to say I would never recommend this dentist.
