I really like Dr. Choi, but his accounting assistant claims I didn't sign over an insurance check to their office. It's check # 308341604 from CareFirst for $802.40 deposited and cleared on 9/12/23. According to CareFirst, the check has the Bethesda Dental Associates stamp on the back. Although I would really recommend Dr. Choi, I found a new dentist due to the incompetence of his accounting assistant.

I've been going to Dr. Choi for several years. So far I found him him appropriately friendly for someone I see twice a year. Professional manner and happy to answer my questions. He doesn't make up problems or do unnecessary work on my teeth, just fixes issues that are actually there.

Dr. Charlson Choi has horrendous bedside manner (no greeting-absolutely nothing) and never returns calls. And no, it is not necessarily his staff’s fault as they claim that they have personally reached out to him to respond. Simply put- he’s uncaring, and it is evident he is in his field for his own personal gain rather than trying to help others. After multiple attempts to contact Dr. Charlson Choi for a follow-up on his services, he has not returned a single message/phone call. As a result, my treatment was significantly delayed and negatively impacted until finding another dentist. Overall, I found this dentist to be very impersonable. I would never recommend him to family and/or friends.
