Dr Barrett is an awesome doctor. Some people take him as "not being professional" or "not having bedside manners" because he treats you like you are family!!! My other pain Dr I was going to is a quack in a half and had me on pain patches that I was allergic to cuz of the adhesive and the anti inflammatories was tearing up my stomach and dr barret said there's no reason to be on those because you are allergic and have stomach problems. Worst doctor I have ever met in my life Charged me twice for one visit says one then does another will NEVER go back!
Was a patient of Dr. Barrett's for 5 yrs, for those 5 yrs I thought he was doing right by me & my pain. It turned out he is nothing more than a drug dealer, he convinced me & had me taking so many drugs I was pretty much out of my mind, thank God my family realized this in time, I got away from Union Hosp & Dr. C. Barrett! Barrett had me on 10mg dilaudid x4 daily, 1mg zanaflex x4 daily, ambien x1 nightly, klonopin x1 nightly, effexor daily, 100 mg benadryl x 1 nightly, I know there are two other meds Barrett had me on, when ... read more
Before I met Dr. Barrett I had been to at least 20 other pain docs who either couldn't or wouldn't care for my pain issues. Dr. Barrett is compassionate, he LISTENS to what you say, is pleasant and polite but most of all HE SAVED MY LIFE!!! I can now walk, work, socialize, and live!! Free of all encompassing pain. I am so thankful God led me to Dr. Barrett. He is the best at what he does!
Gets very upset if you ask him questions. Expects you to accept what he says and does at face value.
This is the best doctor I've ever met for pain. If he's ever late for his appointment, it's because he needs to be 3 of him. 5 Stars!
