I’m not sure I’m going to stay with this doctor. I was hit by a truck and injured. I told Dr. Harris I experience lack of sleep, anxiety and horrible dreams and fear because of my injury. I isolate and afraid to go out in public, and I’m sad all the time. I was on lexapro from a previous doctor . Doctor Harris told me to stop taking the lexapro, prescribed me 4 different medications. Switched Insurances & went to see this doctor for the first time after being given a referral from my PCP. It took me 2 months from the time I booked my appointment to be seen. Long story short I get there and am brought into a room and he asks me why I'm there. I may as well have been speaking to a brick wall because he listened to nothing I explained to him in detail and berated me for not having additional paperwork I was not even asked to bring in the first place about my medical history. This dr. Is extremely rude and insensitive and prejudice. I requested a refill for an anti anxiety Medicine that I've been using for 3 years. But unfortunately switch insurances and was directed to dr.harris. I told him that I hate trying new medication and rejected switching antipsychotic. (Rather deal with side effects I know will happen, instead of experimenting) I told him that my husband and I are going through a separation and I've been having anxiety, trouble staying asleep and going to sleep.
