Dr. Cannan is the Surgeon with the best Patient Care Manner, I have ever met. His explanation of my Cardiac Cathertization Procedure was explained very completely and clearly, He made me feel calm and "ready to go". All in all, the experience was very pleasant and "pain free" You'll be lucky if you han Dr. Cannan taking care of you!
Dr. Cannans "nursing/care team" are unbelievably rude and inconsiderate. I called to try and help a pt in getting instructions for his medications prior to a test that he was scheduled to have and when I explained this to the lady I was transferred to she signs into the phone and replies, "wow that was really long, are you done now". Not only was I called for the pt they were irritated after several attempts of calling and waiting for 20 plus minutes on hold but the staff are unpleasant and insulting with how blatantly rude ... read more
Dr Cannan put 5 stents in my heart on Aug 6, 2005. I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses and do not accept blood transfusions.. When we met in the ER of Southwest Washington Medical Center, Dr Cannan felt I Was kind of tying his hands with my bloodless determination.
