I was far from impressed by Dr. Episalla who rushed in and out of my appointment and barely made eye contact with me. I also had to call out my questions into the hallway as he rushed out. Meanwhile, there were no patients in the waiting room. Considering how incompetent and surly the staff are, I was hardly surprised by that! The snooty young woman gave me the wrong fax number for the wrong office, so that I had to drive over 2 hours to make sure she got the report she was insisting on in order to make the appointment. Dr. Episalla is undoubtedly a master of his craft. He performed surgery on my Rotator Cuff in May of last year (2021) and thankfully the longstanding distress of my shoulder has since ceased. I really appreciate his evident diligence during my pre-surgery consultations with him; for example, the time he took to explain the underlying issues related to my shoulder. Without the slightest reservation, I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an efficient Orthopedic Surgeon.

Dr. Episalla's has performed bilateral should surgery, two knee surgeries, and a knee replacement. currently scheduling bilateral carpal tunnel surgery. always very professional and extremely good at what he does. I could not be happier with him and his entire staff.

The doctor is great. His staff are something else. The balding old guy at the front desk is boorish at best, telling us if we don’t want to wait (at the half hour point after our scheduled time) that we can always make another appointment. Then there’s the large medical assistant with her phony hippa regulations regarding the door of the exam room. Get rid of these two and I think patients would be happier. I know I would. I don’t make an appointment to be made to wait wait and wait. BE RESPONSIBLE as folks have to get to sc... read more

At 30, I tore my ACL, MCL and meniscus playing beach volleyball. Dr. Episalla didnt sugarcoat the severity of my injury, which i appreciated. In a very knowledgeable and detailed manner he explained what was wrong and what it would take to fix it. His honestly and confidence were welcomed and comforting. He did his job (surgery) and he made sure i did mine (rehab) and 1 year later i had made a full recovery and was back playing basketball, skiing, etc. He's a great doctor.
