Dr. Bryz-Gornia was the on-call doctor who delivered my son (after 40 hours of labor and several on-call doctor rotations!). I was a high-risk pregnancy and he made me feel so relaxed and comfortable, especially as their were complications during delivery. After having my son, I had three miscarriages and the care and compassion that I received from him was unimaginable. Dr. Bryz is amazing. Not only did he save me from having a hysterectomy (sp?), he sat and talked to me; asked me questions and said, we could do surgery but let's try this so-and-so procedure. And it worked! Also, he delivered both of my grandchildren. When my daughter was pregnant with the second one, she had premature labor and came home. The next day he called our house to check up on her. Now how many doctors would do that? We miss him so much at Andover Park Clinic. He took time with his patients. Dr. Leesman is great! He takes the time to thoroughly exam my kids. My girls love him as their doctor and so do I.
I saw Dr. Bryz-Gornia for my pregnancy with my first child. I had to wait 15-20 minutes to get into an exam room with him and anywhere between 5-10 minutes for him to come into the room. He did not answer questions, told me how I felt instead of listening to me, and blew me off when I had preterm labor because it was my first time pregnant and premature birth doesn't happen to first timers. Dr. Leesman is a fantastic doctor! My kids like him, I feel he is very knowledgeable, he takes time to really listen to my concerns, and he doesn't 'talk down' to me, as a mother of his patients. We do sometimes wait a while before he sees us, but I know why - he takes all the time needed for each appointment. He's great!!
Dr. Kakacek is very personable and takes the time to discuss your medical needs. Her follow-up is great and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a good family doctor.
I have since moved from Minnesota and if I could have brought one doctor with me, it would have been Dr. Bryz-Gornia. He's the BEST! As others have stated - very caring, a great listener and definitely knows his stuff. Always a gentleman (unlike what another rater has written!) and never out of line. I would highly recommend him to anyone! You'll always get the best medical care with him.
He was very good with my son and willing to spend time with us and answer questions. Was not in a rush even though it was the end of the day. Great doctor and great with kids.
He is a great doctor. Responds and listens to all questions and needs from patient, is very caring and it shows. It is very hard to find this great of a doctor. I have been seeing him for several years and would highly recommend him as your doctor.
