I believe I lost my baby because Dr. Bryzgornia did not take my pre-eclampsia condition seriously. I saw him on the morning my baby died, told him I had had a headache all night and wasn't feeling good. (He knew my blood pressure had been extremely high, I was swollen, had pre-eclamplia in previous pregancies, was on bedrest, headache and more!) Dr. Bryz-Gornia delivered all 3 of my children. He was behind on some of his appointments, but it is because he cares about his patients and wants to take his time with you. He apologized once and told me that he was sorry for being late for a routine appointment, but promised that he would be there when it counted (the birth) and he WAS! He stayed all night after his rotation at the hospital so he could deliver my first born. Dr. Bryz-Gornia was the on-call doctor who delivered my son (after 40 hours of labor and several on-call doctor rotations!). I was a high-risk pregnancy and he made me feel so relaxed and comfortable, especially as their were complications during delivery. After having my son, I had three miscarriages and the care and compassion that I received from him was unimaginable. Dr. Bryz is amazing. Not only did he save me from having a hysterectomy (sp?), he sat and talked to me; asked me questions and said, we could do surgery but let's try this so-and-so procedure. And it worked! Also, he delivered both of my grandchildren. When my daughter was pregnant with the second one, she had premature labor and came home. I saw Dr. Bryz-Gornia for my pregnancy with my first child. I had to wait 15-20 minutes to get into an exam room with him and anywhere between 5-10 minutes for him to come into the room. He did not answer questions, told me how I felt instead of listening to me, and blew me off when I had preterm labor because it was my first time pregnant and premature birth doesn't happen to first timers. I have since moved from Minnesota and if I could have brought one doctor with me, it would have been Dr. Bryz-Gornia. He's the BEST! As others have stated - very caring, a great listener and definitely knows his stuff. Always a gentleman (unlike what another rater has written!) and never out of line. I would highly recommend him to anyone! You'll always get the best medical care with him.
He is a great doctor. Responds and listens to all questions and needs from patient, is very caring and it shows. It is very hard to find this great of a doctor. I have been seeing him for several years and would highly recommend him as your doctor.
