I have TMJ due to a genetic condition called Ehlers Danlos syndrome and am a complex patient with a team of about 18 doctors. I went to Tufts due to pain, headaches, jaw locking and clicking in my jaw. Dr Lu reviewed ALL of my medical records BEFORE our initial appointment (which are extensive), listened to my concerns, was empathetic about solutions I had already tried and failed, and came up with a comprehensive, multifaceted approach to treatment.
