Dr Chavez has been my doctor for years. Although I often have to wait to see him ~ up to an hour ~ he is never rushed with me and always takes the time to answer all of my questions and address all my needs. He is a fantastic physician!
10 years with this clinic and never saw a Dr. The nurse acted like it was the first time every time. Never bothered to scope over my records and come in prepared even though every appointment was an hour or more wait. I went to a real doctor in moscow and I have been healthier and very happy.
Nurse Practitioners recommended increases in medications. When asked to explain how and why medications needed to be increased, she asked if her credentials were being challenged and asked if what "expertise" do we have in the medical field. Prescriptions were filled and we continued treatment as directed. 1 week after appointment a 30 day notice letter was sent to us stating they will no longer provide services to patient and recommended we seek another medical facility to provided medical services. Dr. Chavez is a GREAT doctor! He explains everything in detail and does not push drugs. I had toe nail fungus and he had me soak my feet in a vinegar solution and then put Vicks vapor rub under my toe nail instead of the harsh drug that may cure it and it worked great. I would recommend Dr. Chavez to anyone that wants great Doc.
Got dumped by this Dr. as his staff was having trouble getting the billing right and we did not know what we were to pay. I think maybe they got caught with their pants down on the billing cause we were retiring and the insurance companies change tree or four times in a short time due to wifes employer change and my retirement. They made life miserable for us both. Again dumped to a nurse practitioner.
Awesome, caring staff. Thoughtful and thorough doctor. The exam rooms all have a computer station for up-to-date referencing and recording individual patient's prognosis and treatment. They are "spot on" with the technology available to them. I couldn't be happier with this clinic.
