Excellent Doctor I entrust my family to Doctor Bernabe for both Asthma and Allergy care. She is thorough, very caring and has a good bedside manner. She is a detective when it comes to finding rare allergies such as my daughter who has cold urticaria. She broke out in hives and had trouble breathing for a couple years and other doctors ran test after test to no avail. Dr. Bernabe was able to pin point it to when she got cold. She now takes Zyrtec and we carry an Epi-Pen.
Up to Date Care Dr. Bernabe, who is also affiliated with KUMed, offers very up-to-date care for asthma and allergy treatment. She works well with both children and adults, and has a very available schedule, with appointments in late afternoons after work. She is board certified, although she is a DO rather than an MD, and works well with patients.
