Been mydermatologist for some years. Bright, kind, observant and knowledgeable.
Waited an hr or more - as a new patient would feel more comfortable seeing & meeting the Dr in charge - have found another Dr as a result
Dr. Milam is extremely thorough with skin checks, provides the same instructions every year for protecting against skin cancer, asks if I have any questions or issues to raise and always provides well-informed and experienced answers. I have great trust in Dr. Milam.
She is a competent and caring doctor!!
I had been going to Dr. Milam for over twenty years! The last couple years when I go for a check up, I do not feel like she is very friendly, thorough with her exam and a little bit rude when I ask only one question. ( I felt like she only wanted to go to the next patient!). I will look for another dermatologist.
I have been going to Dr. Milam for about twelve years now and have watched the practice grow to the point where I believe that it has lost it's hands on quality and attention to detail. I had a spot on my face that I brought to here attention on several occasions over a period of about three years. Every time she looked at it she said something like "oh that's just a blah blah, blah (using some medical term that I was clueless about). I felt that she was degrading and disrespectful to me. I felt embarrassed in front of her assistant. She really disappointed me. I asked her to check my legs and she ignored my request. She made me feel very uncomfortable. I would not recommend her anymore after going there for 30 years.
The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. I gone to these reliable Doctors for years.
I went to Dr. Bogart because she was recommended to me by a family member. I was going in as a new patient. I have sores on my arms, legs and nose. I wanted to know what they were. I waited 2 months for the appointment. When I arrived I was informed I would not be seeing Dr. Bogart but her assistant. Her assistant looked me over and took a piece of a sore off my nose.
