I thought Dr. Curry was quite good and thorough for my own exam. However, she does not accept insurance plans for children. All plans by law require coverage for pediatric vision care. I think she is sending a very bad message. Her receptionist is rude, abrupt and unhelpful.
I did not have a dood experience with Dr.Currie, I found her to confrontational, and abrupt. When I took my glasses back because I thought the perscription was incorrect she blamed me for the mistake. After spending a lot of money on this first pair of glasses I decided to go to another optometrist to have my perscription redone. An expensive lesson
Dr Currie is the best eye doctor I've had so far. She is detailed, patient caring, willing to have you try as many lenses to find the best fit before purchase. And super nice. Love her!
Went to see Dr. Currie with my daughter, she did an exam w/dilation and consequently prescribed glasses. My daughter wore them for a few weeks and got headaches and felt nauseous so went back for another exam. The new prescription is exactly half the strength and we are supposed to "try it out" - I don't think I will spend another $100.- on glasses to "try it out" again! We're going to get another opinion!
