Basically ruined my life. I suffer from major depression and an eating disorder. After I was prescribed a medication that was clearly making me gain weight at a rapid amount I repeatedly told her how it was affecting me. She dismissed me and told me she couldn't help me and that the meds technically didn't make me gain weight. Dr. Gillespie has proven herself to be an exceptional psychiatrist to our daughter during what can only be described as a very dark time inside modern day public schools. We have seen three separate psychiatrists, and no one has held a candle to Dr. Gillespie. She’s warm, kind and has an ability to see past all the “smoke and mirrors” other doctors couldn’t. We are truly blessed to have our daughter in such capable hands!

The office manager, Donna, is verbally abusive. The office staff refer to behavioral health insurance as mental insurance. I attempted to get my wife an appointment and when I mentioned that Texas was the 2nd worst in the nation for mental healthcare statistically - which is a fact - the office manager Donna informed me that my wife no longer had an appointment and then yelled at me, following which she hung up.

I love Dr. Gillaspie so much! She had the best attitude, always listens and gives great advice. I always leave happier after my visit with her.
