After having to go on gov insurance due to COVID-19/job issues..I was nervous about going to the dr. I figured I’d get treated like I was scum. The exact opposite happened... lauren at the front desk was so kind and helpful, she went out of her way to make me an appointment at a specialist AND faxed over my authorization right away!! Dr. Pineles was very informative and helpful, everyone made me feel very comfortable. I couldn’t of had a better experience. This place is awful. There is a weird smell in the air, the carpets and walls are dirty, damaged and outdated. The doors and walls are paper thin so do not expect any patient privacy. They store cleaning chemicals out in the open in the exam rooms. The ladies at the front desk are very abrupt and rude. They don't seem interested in helping the patients. Please do yourself a favor and do not go here.
I have not liked the annual exam questions that he has asked because I don't see the point in it. He has asked me what kind of Epilepsy do I have and I have answered that question at least ten times and he has asked me other questions about my seizures that i can't answer but in his reports he has said that not all of his questions were answered about my seizures. If he asks me about them again then i will tell him to ask my husband about it. I want to find another doctor who will discuss other things with me besides depress... read more
