I have had recurring episodes of diverticulitis over many years & have seen at least 4 gastroenterologists who are only interested in surveillance for prevention of cancer. I have spent days in hospital, days in bed when on holiday overseas, missed significant events with no interest from consulting specialists. Dr Bariol is everything you expect from a considerate doctor who is at the top of her career. She is open to discussion and will go the extra mile to look after your health. Operating out of a minimalistic theatre but attached to a huge Hospital (St Vincent’s) is sensibly streamlining resources. After care was the best I’ve experienced, lovely receptionists that aren’t like the usual mannequin. Was sent my results with images to my GP so I could receive them, good service.
