Dr Carolyn Bangert recently diagnosed a large melanoma on the top of my head, which was surgically removed several months ago. Multiple barbers suggested that I have the spot checked over a five-year period. I subsequently had two different dermatologists look at it over a five-year period during annual skin checks. Dr Bangert took one look and biopsied the spot, which turned out to be melanoma. She personally called to relay the melanoma diagnosis and did so in a very calming fashion. I came to Dr. Bangert with symptoms of an auto immune condition that affects my skin. Her observations and treatment were extraordinarily insightful and helpful. I am an anxious patient and she went out of her way to be kind and supportive . We are lucky to have this world class doctor in Tucson.
I have been a patient of Dr. Carolyn Bangert for about four years. I've always found her to be knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and caring. After four battles with skin cancer, I'm a high-risk patient and need an appointment every three to four months. I have the utmost trust in Dr. Bangert and will continue to see her as long as she practices in this area. The staff has always been great as well. Highly recommend.
