Dr. Swallow is as confident and brilliant a surgeon as she is a compassionate and caring person. After she successfully removed a tumour in my upper left abdominal quadrant, she visited me (on her personal time) on a Saturday evening in the hospital to see how I was recovering after surgery. I was pleasantly surprised to find that she cared about me as an individual; I wasn't just a statistic to her.
