He seems like a knowledgeable doctor but there's one very weird thing about him and the staff. They don't believe in closing doors. Twice now I've had a consultation with Dr. Fricks and he just leaves the door to the exam room standing wide open, right across from another exam room with its door standing wide open and a patient in that room sitting there acting as a spectator to our conversation. It's just so incredibly unprofessional. Won't be going back here.
He was plain rude, didn't even listen to my symptms and then guessed the diagnosis ("probably"). He let me go advising to work out more. Totally careless.
Yesterday, I personally telephoned this doctor on behalf of a patient friend who is dying of degenerative lung disease. This doctor then phoned my friend to tell me not to bother his office to ask specifically whether respiratory therapy and nursing care might be possible. This doctor, with all his accumulated knowledge, only ordered a CT-scan and checked my friend's cough sample. My understanding is that he did nothing else.
