excellent doc i dont want a friend i want a good doc and hes it
Dr. Rountree has many years of experience. My appointment was easily scheduled, and I was able to get in within a week. He and his staff were very friendly, and he was very thorough. Having said that, please be aware that he is VERY unfamiliar with trauma-informed care. As soon as he came in, he grabbed my arm and started examining it. Then he yanked up my shirt to examine my back & belly without asking (there was a female nurse present, but still...). I have a history of trauma, and it was pretty triggering. Also, while som... read more
He is always in a rush. Just does things without asking. He put freeze spray on a cyst that he already took a biopsy from so the open wound from the biopsy procedure got badly infected and I almost lost my leg from the knee down. Also I had a vacation planned that was coming up and it was completely ruined because had he told be he was going to put freeze spray on an open wound and explain what would happen next I would have said NO! He just grabbed the can and did it in a matter of seconds. Now the scar is horrendous and it... read more
Dr. Roundtree is the most amazing doctor, i have been going to him for years. He definitely knows his stuff, wonderful wonderful doctor.
I've been to Dr. Rountree a dozen times and really like his style. (I took my mom there when she lived with us.) I am 'old' and have sun damage spots, and warts. If there was something that needed to be sent to the lab, I am sure he would explain but, I just have some spots to freeze off. He and his team do it quickly and with little or no waiting. As long as he keeps practicing, I plan to keep visiting him.
Busy professionals love the courteous, positive & humorous doc. My husband & I, both adult children think he is great. U want negatives you will have to look elsewhere. Not your buddy just a great professional doc who is a pro. Over 40 years his patients.
If your looking for a doctor to actually take the time and explain what's going on, do NOT see this doctor. Although he is very polite, the appointment was rushed, spent less than 5 minutes in the exam room with him. He did not even verbally tell me what was going on but had his MA give me a piece of paper talking about my "diagnosis." I'm sure he is a terrific doctor (he has years of experience) but I would rather a more personal interaction than have papers and brochures thrown at
Had a wait for over an hour, then the examination last all but 2 mins. I was diagnosed with a painful skin condition, handed a single sheet of paper. I guess because he didn't want to explain the disease, after giving me a prescription for ointment, he literally runs out the room while shouting there " THERE IS NO CURE." He could at least pretended he cared. He has done this exact same thing to other patients as well, so don't be next. He's more worried about his money than your skin.
