I had chronic and severe UTIs for months in and out of the hospital. The last time I was on IV antibiotics for a month before I could get an appointment with a Urologist. Dr. Bernas Picked up the ball and got me in to see a urologist and had my kidney stones removed which were causing the reintroduction of UTIs. He continues to follow me and his help is much appreciated.
Dr. Bernas has all of the qualities I look for in a great doctor. Excellent knowledge, excellent understanding of my needs, cares deeply and sincerely about my health, excellent at giving me options, has remarkable patience to listen to my issues. Listens very well. I enjoy my visits. Takes time to ensure I aware of repercussions of not getting treatment. Rare combination to get an excellent, knowledgeable doctor and a great caring person.
