Dr. Mikesh is just a lovely person. She is so sweet and friendly and puts one at ease immediately. If someone is going to give me a total body check, I need to feel comfortable!! She is competent and spends time with you. And her office is beautiful.
She didn’t take a biopsy of a spot I was concerned about. She said, “if I was her daughter she wouldn’t be concerned.” I went back a year later and said I wanted it removed no matter what she thought because it was not pretty. She said it was benign, but she’d remove it. Turns out, it was melanoma. Now I have either stage IIIc or IV advanced melanoma. If she had just taken the biopsy the previous year, I wouldn’t be fighting for my life. Please take this as a warning.
I have been seeing Dr. Mikesh for years, and she is by far the best dermatologist in Naples. She is thorough, cautious, and is a kind person. Her staff is very competent and friendly as well. She is the only dermatologist I trust, she doesn't just carve you up to increase her bill.
I have been a patient of Dr. Mikesh’s for many years and was surprised today to see staff w/o masks. I was asked if I wanted the Dr. to wear a mask when she saw me. I said yes and yet when I saw the Dr., she did not wear a mask. I asked her about that. She said that she felt it wasn’t necessary if a person was asymptomatic. And that was that. My exam continued without regard to my request. Wow. Just ignored. Hoping now that I don’t get sick... Ugh.
No good...got there early and filled out paperwork, plenty of time ahead of scheduled appointment...30 minutes...still no doctor...though folks arriving after me, seemed to walk right in...why make an appointment if you cannot keep it..
She’s a fantastic doctor
