Dr. Evans pretends cataract surgery is a safe and simple procedure until you have a side effect or two or three like I have. I have been suffering for one year and have been to numerous doctors and spent thousands of dollars trying to feel better. He’s fine until you have a problem and then you’re on your own. It is unconscionable that I was not informed of any serious issues from cataract surgery. If I knew what I know now, I would have gone to a Doctor who does not do cataract surgery in an assembly line. People should be ... read more

I went to Dr. Evans for over 15 year and had a cataract surgery five years ago. I haven’t been able to write because it was so traumatic. After the surgery my eye was so blurry I couldn’t see . I called the next day and was told it was normal right after surgery. It continued for a couple of weeks after calling almost everyday. He was too busy to talk to me. I finally went to another eye doctor who didn’t think he could save my eye. Thank God he did. I was then diagnosed with a genetic eye condition, Fuchs Syndrome, which I ... read more

If you want only to have your cataracts done and nothing more, this is the place for you. If you want an ophthalmologist who will spend more than five minutes with you and actually listen to your questions snd concerns and address them thoroughly, go somewhere else. If you want to see the same doctor each appointment, go somewhere else. If after visiting the doctor more than 5 times in a year you expect him to remember your name during your visit while he’s looking at your chart, go somewhere else.
