He thinks he knows everything he doesn’t listen he’s arrogant and he proceeded to state “ you think I’ve been doing this since yesterday?” His expierence and level of knowledge don’t match and I think a lot of other reviews can vouch for this one DON’T GO TO HIM HE LACKS PROFESSIONALISM.
Dr. Mayol was very good with my 12 year old daughter who suffered a concussion. He asked her comprehensive questions and followed through with the necessary paperwork for excusing her from school. He was very pleasant and thorough. Highly recommended.
I was referred to Dr. Mayol by my PCP and his level of care and knowledge is at best TERRIBLE! He was baffled at what was going on with me and then MRI's and nerve test revealed exactly what was wrong and he still didn't correct my problems. His MA is just as rude and ignorant as he is. I'm blessed to have wonderful insurance benefits that I can go anywhere...and that is what I will do. Going monthly to a doctor that didn't correct anything was a complete waste of time...I'm just glad my PCP intervened and sent me to someone... read more
Dr. Mayol seemed stumped and completely unconcerned with my issue, his bedside manner was the worst I've experienced, and he never answered my questions, he shrugged and said "I'll be right back," then sent in an assistant to say I could leave. The office manager did not seem surprised and assured me that this was not his "home office" and that she understood completely if I wanted to change doctors. Something tells me this was not unusual from his other reviews I'm reading, and the issue was resolved with a Physical Therapi... read more
I had the same experience as the previous rater. Rude. Condescending. The staff and the doctor both refused to call me Doctor instead of by my first name. Refused to listen to me even though I am a doctor under the care of a cardiologist for falling due to low blood pressure and pulse with three serious injuires including the one I came in for as referred by IU ER. Doctor said he did not care what my other doctors said or what my medications were. Orthopedic surgeons tend to be more assertive than other docs but this young g... read more
Rude, condescending, argumentative, arrogant are just a few of the ways I can describe this so-called Dr. His nurse was equally as rude. I finally got up to leave and reminded this mass of arrogance that his job was to listen to the person that was paying for his services and not treat them as they were a child that he could try and bully.
have MRIs that show different. He told me there is no organic cause for my pain, and that it's just caused by stress. I have lymes disease, budging discs, spurring in my neck, and myofacial pain syndrome. He told me these were all "guesses" by other doctors. Definition of arrogance. I walked out, and I'm pretty sure that I won't be back. Not to mention, his staff (especially his nurse, was extremely RUDE!)
Condescending attitude! And the staff followed along with his rudeness.
Everyone in the office was outstanding. The physician was attentive and easy to talk to. Would refer anyone to him.
