Been a patient for years. Had my colonoscopy and scan in esophagus every 2 years. Received notice I missed appointment in January which I never received a reminder call but at that time I was fighting to save my husbands life. Now I have a severe case if diverticulitis, am in much pain, running a high fever. Office informs me there is nothing the can do. ..not making appointments for 6 months out..go to the hospital!!!! Will never recommend

Never got to the physician. After waiting months for an appointment and 2 calls to confirm I was coming and 45 min in the waiting room, a gruff, non caring older women told me I could not be seen because they did not have the referral. I verified they had received it 2 months earlier. They could verify I was coming, but could not verify they still had the referral or call for a replacement, but could call me twice. I lost work time, travel time, fuel, because they failed to do their jobs.

This was my first pre colonoscopy and endoscopy visit to Dr. Heath. I felt very comfortable from the beginning upon entering until leaving the building. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Dr. Heath is very down to earth, explains the procedures well and actually listens to you. During COVID, procedures are a few months out; however, when I have mine in July, I will feel comfortable knowing Dr. Heath is the doctor who will be performing those procedures.

Dr. Heath is a patients doctor. He is not your typical stuffed shirt. I think if all doctors had his bedside manner we would truly have a better world. Just to take the time to answer a few questions, show a little respect, look you in the eye, not make you feel like a number; definitely recommend.

Experience and awards don't mean anything if you can't make and then keep an appointment. I was told 36 hours before my scheduled procedure that the time had been moved up 3 hours and that I would need to be at the hospital at 6:15 am. I couldn't change my transportation arrangements on such short notice, so I canceled. Nobody at the office seemed to know why or when the schedule had been changed or why I hadn't been consulted. At no time did anyone try to intervene or offer any advice.

I told Dr. heath that I had recent back surgery. Nevertheless, .he did not take the proper care when moving me from being on my side to my back while under anesthetic. The next day my back was terribly sore. It's been two weeks and my back is still sore. My neurosurgen wants me to come in and get xX-rays to see how much damage Dr. Heath did. If you have other health problems I recomend you find a more competant doctor.
