Pain is often a complex problem, which makes finding appropriate treatment options complex as well. My goal is to facilitate a true inter-disciplinary approach to pain management, involving the right specialties and modalities at the right time for the right diagnosis and care.

From my first visit with Dr. Wernick, he was unlike many in that he took a great amount of time and discussion to assure I was aware of my options, while also letting me make the decision that was right for me. One step at a time. I appreciate that he didn't throw prescription drugs at the problem right away, but instead came at it holistically and at a pace comfortable with me.
Business response:
Thank you for sharing this with us. We are glad to know that you've experienced our mission, and hope you feel better.
I came to this office on a very high dose of pain meds that a practioner had put me on. I have severe RA and osteoporsis I have had over 39 surgeries. I am on the lowest dose possible thanks to them. I got my life back.
Dr. Wernick is a rude, entitled doctor who believes that everyone is an addict. He doesn't allow his patients to live with any quality of life. He likes to be condescending to his patients and argue with them about the cause of their pain. He also pawns people off on his subordinates without permission.
Dr. Werneck is a wonderful doctor. He and his staff are very professional! Dr. Werneck listens to his patients and includes them in creating a treatment plan. I recommend him absolutely
Dr. Wernick believes in patients taking no pain medication and only doing spinal cord stimulators. Don’t expect to get any pain medication from this doctor.
I've seen Dr. Wernick many times for pain injections. He is always thorough, answered questions, and a great bedside manner. I love the nurses that take care of you before and after the procedure, as well as working in the room with the Dr. I would highly recommend.
My experience with Dr. Wernick was great, until I had to see his Nurse Practitioner, Rebecca Smith. Rebecca was unsympathetic, cold and terse.
I HAVE BEEN GETTING INJECTIONS ON MY BACK FOR NEARLY TWO YEARS AND IS A VERY NICE PERSON AS FAR AS DOCTORS GO. I'M AN OLD 94 WORLD TWO VETERAN AND HAVE MANY HAD DOCTORS LOOK AT MY BACK HE IS THE BEST
Dr. Wernick has been extremely helpful in managing my pain and placing a spinal cord stimulator in me. He truly cares about relieving your pain and suffering and listens to your concerns and answers questions honestly and in depth. Unfortunately, I had to have the stimulator surgery twice I am difficult and have lupus and developed a strange reaction to the suture material and a pocket of scar tissue formed and flipped my stimulator he was fantastic and got me into the or and fixed it fast!
