I had a very poor experience with Dr Springer and Orthocarolina. It is over a year since my knee replacement and I am still struggling with pain and walking. The knee is substantially worse than before surgery. Dr Springer is very insulated from his patients. All post op communication was "forced" through the online portal. He delegates all portal communication to an admin/tech so you have no direct communication with him after surgery . I am grateful I found Dr. Springer when I moved to Charlotte. For 10 years my knees declined, and by the time I meet Dr. Springer I could barely walk 1 block. My initial meeting with Dr. Springer was fantastic. He listened, asked questions, took x-rays and explained the issues & options in great detail. Essentially my knees were bone-on-bone.
