It has been a few years since seeing Dr. A, but felt it necessary to say that this is one of the only doctors who has ever truly cared enough to not only assist with my immediate needs but to provide long term advice for management of my conditions. My OBGYN, upon diagnosing me with uterine fibroids, suggested Dr. Albrecht for the necessary surgery. However, I was never apprised before the procedure that the incision's placement would prohibit me from experiencing natural childbirth. Now, as I find myself pregnant, my OBGYN has informed me that I cannot go into labor or have a natural birth. Had I been aware that this option would be taken away from me, I might have reconsidered undergoing the surgery.
