He did not show me the imaging but discussed his conclusions based on them. If I asked any follow up questions, he would snap “don’t you think I would have told you that”, or “ how many times do I have to say it” to any clarifying questions. Our entire interaction was only about 15 minutes but parts were almost combative in a way that I didn’t understand. He seemed to hate being questioned even when it’s pertaining to your condition, symptoms, or prognosis. I was referred to him for his specialty but I will not seek any futu... read more

i couldn't even recommend dr whitney for someone needing a backscratch. i think a frog would be more sensitive & less rude!! i have never had an experience with a doctor who was as insensitive, unprofessional, & rude!! after explaining one of my issues being lack of good hearing, he interrupted me several times when i was trying to answer a question he asked. it just went downhill from there with his not allowing me to finish explaining my symptoms etc. it was the only dr appt i ever had that left me feeling more traumatized... read more

The visit was my worst healthcare encounter to date. The PA yelled at me and asked me repeatedly asked me "Why are you here?" She did not listen to me. Due diligence to follow-up with my PCP who referred me and understand the reason for my visit was not done in advance of my visit. The PA did not listen to me. The doctor made excuses for the PA saying she was frustrated and took her frustration out on me. He showed apparent frustration with not knowing how to pronounce my name and he did not listen to me to provide care. The... read more

Dr. Whitney has been a Godsend to my family. He was my Dad's surgeon for over 25 years and now he is working with my Mom. He is very committed to his patients. I would and have recommended him several times.

My Grandfather who is now deseased used Dr. Whitney. I will never forget the beginning of the end for my grandfather. Dr Whitney had him admitted into the ER and 2 hours later Whitney showed up slurring his speech and his eyes were bloodshot, I thought it was very strange. Dr Whitney then proceeded to amputate my grandfathers toe on the following day. After the surgery he did not prescribe any antibiotics and a few months later my grandfather had his foot amputated after fighting gangrene. Awful

My experiece with Dr Whitney was one of the worst I've ever had with a doctor. He interrupted me when I was talking and appeared to not even be listening. He's very demeaning and disrespectful. He didn't give me the feeling he really cared about me or my condition.

Difficult physically, many people don't understand pain. Excited for potential relief in my arm. Him and his MA treated me with immediate disgust. Wouldn't let finish a sentence, spoke to me like I was stupid, made an insult about my age & rollater very self conscious already he was very cold. I was late we live far away, several accidents, not familiar with area & rely my 19 year old to drive. Left in tears & humiliated. Still feel like a tourniquet on arm, lower part feel little circulation.

Very thorough and thoughtful. I used him as a second opinion and thank goodness I did!
