My 16 year old broke the joint in his elbow, requiring a screw to be placed. Dr. Rabenhorst explained in detail what the surgery and healing entailed. It has been 5 years since the surgery. My son lifts weights several times a week and plays basketball. He has full range of motion and no issues. I am thankful Dr. Rabenhorst was the one able to perform the surgery.
My 10 year old son broke his arm and Dr Rabenhorst and staff have been wonderful throughout all of this! My son will tell you that he's the best!
I felt this physician was quite condescending, from the first handshake until the finality of the appointment. He assumed that my concern was asthetics, when pain and function is all we had talked about with regard to the child's condition. First doc I've ever not cared for at ACH. Maybe we just got him on a bad day, I don't know. There are lots of other orthos here, though, and I would opt for one of them in the future.
